Lucy Ashford
Veterinary Care Assistant
Lucy is studying to become Veterinary Care Assistant and for her placement she chose our practice. She is very hard working and dedicated to animal care. You can meet her in the mornings when she is helping with animal admissions for the surgeries, or helping with the consultations.
” I joined in September of 2021 to start my placement for a VCA course at the Rodbaston College, with the aim to one day become a Nurse. I enjoy seeing all the different animals every day and being able to learn new skills to improve my knowledge.
Outside of school I spend most of my time with my cat, Ginny and two guinea pigs, Ron and Hairy. I also go to my local stables where I’m learning to horse ride and have volunteered there during school holidays.”
